APPENDIX: 'Ronghua Girl' Pinup

She is apparently the most famous background character of Ronin Digital Express

You never really know what’s going to stick with people.

Over the past year, I’ve gotten more comments and questions about one Ronin Digital Express character more than any other.

The protagonist, the Green-Eyed Ronin?

No.

Satoshi, the chimera cat from “Gaijin”?

No.

The badass unnamed ninja character from the end of “Mon Chou”?

No.

All anyone wants to know about is this minor background character from “Ronghua”:

Her, on the left. We’ll call her “Ronghua Girl.”

She pops up again to save the Green-Eyed Ronin’s life, and then…

… nothing!

And that seems to be a problem for some readers. I’ve gotten a handful of DMs or emails asking who she is, what’s her story, and whether she’ll show up again.

Well, unfortunately, I have no plans to include her in the future.

She’s just one of those “designed in-panel” characters that accidentally leaves an impression.
